Donald Duck charged with DUI, makes Leno
MASSILLON, Ohio – A man arrested in June after crashing into a Little Caesar’s Pizza drive-thru made the news a second time when the headline about his story appeared on Jay Leno’s “Headlines" segment on "The Tonight Show" in July.
The story was about Donald Duck, who was arrested for felony drunken driving. The headline was, "Donald Duck, 51, crashes into van, arrested for DUI."
According to jail records, Donald Norman Duck, 51, smelled of alcohol and had red and glassy eyes when officers responded to the restaurant. Jail records show Duck’s Jeep struck a GMC van twice in the drive-thru. Duck has four previous drunken driving convictions, court records show.
