The LSE girls eighth grade basketball team improved to 4-1 on the season by beating School of the Osage Tuesday night in Boonville 41-16.

LSE eighth grade coach Tara Brackman said the girls had a good first quarter and came out with a strong defensive effort. “Great team play tonight,” Brackman said. “All nine girls contributed. We had some great passes and unselfish play, also.”
