Fayette Outlaws 12U softball team had plenty of offense to go around last Tuesday in Babe Ruth Softball at Rolling Hills park.


In a doubleheader against Show-Me State Home Inspections, Fayette Outlaws picked up a pair of wins by the scores of 25-5 and 17-9.


In the first game, Fayette Outlaws couldn’t have asked for a better start by exploding for 17 runs in the first inning and then adding eight runs in the second to win by the mercy rule.


Show-Me State Home Inspections, meanwhile, plated two runs in the first and three in the second.


Payton Kindle picked up the win in the circle for Fayette Outlaws while Alycia Felgar took the loss for Show-Me State Home Inspections. Kindle pitched both innings for Fayette and gave up four runs on three hits and four walks while striking out three batters. Felgar, meanwhile, pitched just one inning and gave up 17 runs on 10 hits and eight walks while striking out one.


Fayette Outlaws also out-hit Show-Me State Home Inspections 14-3, with Mia Eckerle going 4-for-4 with three singles, one double and five RBIs. Payton Kindle finished the game with one single, one triple and four RBIs while Mariah Felton added one single, one double and four RBIs, Cayle John and Grace Poulsen each with two singles and two RBIs and Hailey Kuester and Whitley Sunderland each with one single and one RBI.


For Show-Me State Home Inspections, Alycia Felgar had one single and drove in two runs while Alyssa Brownfield and Katie Pefferman added one single each.


In the second game, Fayette Outlaws led 5-1 after one and 9-5 after two before outscoring Show-Me State Home Inspections 8-4 in the third for the win.


Mia Eckerle was the winning pitcher in the circle for Fayette Outlaws while Jentry Fenton took the loss for Show-Me State Home Inspections.


Eckerle started the game and pitched 2 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on three hits and four walks while striking out three batters.


For Show-Me State Home Inspections, Fenton pitched all three innings and surrendered 17 runs on 16 hits and three walks while striking out three batters.


Fayette Outlaws, who improved to 6-0, also finished the game with 16 hits, with Payton Kindle going 3-for-4 with two singles, one double and three RBIs. Cayle John finished the game with three singles while Leah Thies added a single, double and two RBIs, Mariah Felton with one single, one double and one RBI, Whitley Sunderland with two singles and two RBIs, Browyn Eubanks with two singles, Mia Eckerle with one double and one RBI, Haitley Kuester with one single and Grace Poulsen with one RBI.


For Show-Me State Home Inspections, who dropped to 0-8, Rebecca Shaw went 3-for-3 with three singles and two RBIs while Alyssa Brownfield had the only other hit with one single and one RBI. Jentry Fenton drove in two runs while Alycia Felgar added one RBI.
