The annual Pirate Ridge Golf Academy will be starting on Monday, June 8 at Hail Ridge Golf Course.

However this season figures to be totally different due to the coronavirus guidelines the course needs to abide by. This year, the Academy will be limited to the first 32 golfers-ages 5-14-to sign up.

Everything the Pirate Academy has provided in the past will still be provided for the same cost of $200 such as Monday night instruction, range privileges for the year, set of clubs if needed (clubs may be delayed due to the coronavirus), t-shirt and collared shirt with logo, and walking membership at Hail Ridge.

Changes to the Academy due to the coronavirus guidelines are: half hour time slots only; only four golfers on the driving range at a time, two on putting green; once the 30 minute session is up, each child must leave the practice area to make room for the next group. Parents/volunteers can take them on the course to play.
