Boonville freshman Addison Brownfield joined an elite group after being selected to the 45th annual KRES All-Star Basketball Team for the 2018-19 season.
Fifteen boys and girls in Classes 1-4 made up the team from the KRES listening area.
Brownfield, a starter at the point guard position this season for the Lady Pirates, finished the season with 368 points for an average of 14.7 ppg along with 91 rebounds for 3.6 rpg, 100 steals for 4.0 spg and 80 assists for 3.2 apg. Brownfield also led the team in three point shooting by hitting 36 of 106 shots for 34 percent and 92 of 132 free throws for 70 percent. She was also a 44 percent shooter from the field.
The 45th KRES All-Star Basketball Banquet will be Wednesday, March 27th, at 6:30 p.m. at the MACC Auditorium. Tickets are $8 per person and may be purchased at the door. During the program, the KRES Coaches of the Year and another Legends Award recipient will be announced.
