Olivia Reynolds wins meet medalist honors with a 7-over par 42

The Boonville Lady Pirates golf team got back to playing what head coach Rob VanderLinden called much better golf Monday night in a 31 stroke win over California in Tri-County Conference action at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville.
While out-distancing the Lady Pintos 194-225, Boonville also finished the dual with the meet medalist as senior Olivia Reynolds fired a 7-over par 42 with one birdie, three pars and two bogeys.
“This was a good time to start improving our scores because of what is coming up on our schedule,” VanderLinden said. “After the California Tournament on Tuesday, we have our home tournament on Friday and then the conference tournament next Monday in Jefferson City.”
VanderLinden said Reynolds final round of 42 was 20 strokes better than her previous match.
Boonville finished the meet with three of the top scorers, with Iris Ehrengen shooting a round of 47 with two birdies, one par and one bogey. Alisa Newbold carded a score of 49 with three pars and one bogey while Mille Dorman shot a score of 50 with two pars and three bogeys, Jalyn Schnetzler with a score of 53 with two bogeys, Raghan Skoufos with a score of 61 with three bogeys, Julianne Bromagen with a score of 61 with one par and one bogey, Lily Terrell with a score of 64 with one par and Francesca Zecca with a score of 68.
