The New Franklin Bulldogs baseball team had another tough night on Monday while managing only three hits in a 13-0 loss against LaPlata.
The Bulldogs, dropping to 1-7 on the season, struggled to get anything going all night while LaPlata had little trouble scoring by putting up all 13 runs in the first-four innings.
LaPlata led New Franklin 4-0 after one, 6-0 after two and 11-0 after three before adding two more runs in the fourth.
New Franklin coach Erich Gerding said it was a very cold night against a very good team. “We did barely anything well,” Gerding said.
