Central Diesel out of Fayette rallied put up seven runs in the final two innings to beat Citizen’s Community Bank 7-1 in Babe Ruth 8U softball Thursday night at Lions park.
Citizen’s Community Bank led Central Diesel 1-0 after the first but couldn’t hold on as Central Diesel rallied back with two in the third and five again in the fourth for the victory.
Central Diesel also out-hit CCB 27-6, with Addie Gibbs going 3-for-3 with three singles.
Brooke Dougherty and Payton Kendall each had two singles and two RBIs while Paige Vroman added two singles, Cameron Ballew, Graycyn Syferd and Kennedy Chew each with one single and emma Hildgedick, Kenna Vroman, Kadence Sultrop and Chloe Bier each with one single.
For CCB, Lauren Thompson went 2-for-2 with two singles while Presley Deviller added one single and one RBI and Lizzie Traub, Cary Robb and Kaleia Morton each with one single.

Boonville Abstract scored in every inning for a 11-1 win Thursday night in the second game in Babe Ruth 8U softball at Lions park.
Boonville Abstract opened the game with three runs in the bottom-half of the first and then sent five runs across in the second and two in each of the third and fourth innings of play.
Boonville Abstract also had 21 hits in the ballgame, with Daisy Huth going 3-for-3 with two singles, one triple and four RBIs.
Avery Hayes finished the game with three singles and one RBI while Elizabeth Eichelberger and Emma Pfeiffer added three singles each, Emme Comegys with two singles and two RBIs, ellie Kirchner and Lillie Moore each with two singles and Brooke Hicks, Brylea Warren and Bella Hicks each with one single.
For Walmart, Lainey Humphrey went 2-for-2 with two singles while Abbie Gann had one single and one RBI and Katie Pefferman and Callie Gann with one single each.
