Custom Weatherproofing beats CCLT in the night, 10-7

Kyra Perkins went 3-for-3 with three singles, and teammates Andrea Jackson and Brooke Eichelberger each had one single and one triple to lead Caterpillar past  Central Bank 8-7 in Babe Ruth 16U softball Tuesday night at Rolling Hills park.
Caterpillar, improving to 3-1 on the season, led Central Bank at one point by a score of 8-1 before giving six runs in the bottom-half of the fourth.
Brooke Eichelberger also picked up the win in the circle for Caterpillar while Logan Root took the loss for Central Bank, who dropped to 0-3 on the season. Eichelberger pitched all five innings and struck out six batters while giving up seven runs on five hits and three walks. Root, meanwhile, pitched five innings and allowed eight runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five.
Jackson also drove in two runs for Caterpillar while Reese Lavers added two singles and Tobie Gallup and Taryn Johnson each with one single.
For Central Bank, Taylor Simmons went 2-for-3 with a single, double and one RBI. Zoey Laster also singled twice while Isabelle Matney added one double and two RBIs.

Cooper County Land Title 7
Custom Weatherproofing rallied from a 4-1 deficit after 2 1/2 by outscoring Cooper County Land Title 9-3 over the next-three innings for a 10-7 victory Tuesday in Babe Ruth 16U softball at Rolling Hills park.
Rachel Massa picked up the win on the mound for Custom Weatherproofing while Brooke Stone took the loss for CCLT. In five innings, Massa struck out eight batters and gave up seven runs on seven hits and one walk. Stone, meanwhile, pitched 4 1/3 innings and allowed 10 runs on five hits and six walks while striking out four batters. Sylvia Bishop also pitched 2/3 inning in relief for CCLT and surrendered one hit and two walks.
Kyla Johnson led the hitting attack in the game for CWP, who improved to 2-1, with one double, one triple and three RBIs. Zoe Coffelt added a double and two RBIs while Abby Maupin had one single and one RBI and Alexis Albin, Alexis Trigg and Rachel Massa each with one single.
For CCLT, who dropped to 3-2, Carlee Bishop went 3-for-3 with one single, two doubles and four RBIs. Daylynn Baker and Jacey Fenton each had one single and one RBI while Landrie Hicks and Gina Meisenheimer added one single each.
