The LSE Pirates wrestling team finished with an overall record of 12-17 while competing in a quadrangular meet Thursday in Marshall.
Despite the five match difference, LSE coach Summer Young said overall the performance was exciting and aggressive. “Carter Stumph, Peyton Hahn and Brant Whitaker went undefeated for the night,” Young said. “Travis Dell displayed an exciting first match with a 10-3 win. Harper Stock also had an exciting first match and pulled off a pin against Warrensburg.”
Brant Whitaker and Carter Stumph both finished 3-0 in the quad while Peyton Hahn was 2-0. Dustyn Taylor was 1-1 while Travis Dell, Harper Stock and Brinley Samer were all 1-2.
Other wrestlers competing on the night were Hayden Mendez, Brayden McFarland, Drake Nickle, Jayson Bundy and Gaige Offineer.
Marshall, Clinton and Warrensburg also participated in the meet with Boonville.
