The Bunceton Lady Dragons volleyball team fell at home in two straight sets Tuesday night against the La Monte Vikings by the scores of 26-24 and 25-16.
Bunceton coach Casandra Goyer said the girls came out strong in the first set and made some big plays but couldn’t hold on. In the second set, she said the girls made some simple mistakes to start the set and then just never recovered. “We did show growth and improvement, but not to the level that we were hoping for,” Goyer said.
