If you are going to the Class 3 quarterfinal game Saturday night between the Boonville Lady Pirates and St. Pius X Warriors, Boonville Athletic Director Chris Shikles suggest you give yourself plenty of time for travel.
Tip off for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m. However, the drive to Lee’s Summit High School is approximately one hour and 32 minutes or 97.2 miles.
If you are planning on making the trip, Shikles suggest this route: Start out going south on West Ashley Road/US-40 W/MO-5 toward Penny Lane and then merge onto I-70 West toward Kansas City. Once on I-70, you will drive approximately 86.45 miles and then merge onto I-470 S/MO 291 South via exit 15A toward Lee’s Summit. After getting on 291 South, merge onto NE State Route 291/MO-291 South via exit 10B on the left toward Harrisonville for approximately 3.32 miles. Turn right onto SE Blue Parkway. 400 SE Blue Parkway is on the right.
Admission to the game is $6 per person for all spectators ages 6 and up. Admission is good for all four quarterfinal games. No passes will be issued. Admission gates will open to the public at 12 noon.
