William Schenck, age 16 of Boonville, recently completed his first marathon in the Colorado Marathon in Fort Collins, Colorado on Sunday, May 7. Schenck finished with a time of 3 hours 53 minutes and 33 seconds. He finished in 9th place in his age category (under 19 years of old). He was one of three runners in the 16 and under age group and finished first among those runners. Overall, he placed 253rd out of 785 runners and 180th of 446 male runners. Will is completing his sophomore year at Boonville High School. He is involved in cross-country, track, band (drumline) and science olympiad.
