Richard Lee Anderson, 72, formerly of Boonville, MO, passed away on August 25, 2022. He was born May 16, 1950, in Boonville, the son of E. M. and Bernice Siedenburg Anderson, Jr., both of whom preceded him in death.

He attended a oner oom country schoolhouse near Lone Elm and graduated from Boonville High School. Richard worked in maintenance at Cargil Meat Processing for rendering. He attended Tipton Campfire Fellowship Cowboy Church. Richard was an outdoors man, spending time fishing, hunting, farming, and raising cattle. His family fondly recalls his orneriness and his youthful playfulness. Richard enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and his beloved cat.

Richard is survived by his wife, Melva; children, Angel Smith (Todd), Crystal Williams, Alicia Campbell, Brandon Anderson; Brother, Ronald Anderson, grandchildren, Ren Alexius, Amanda Cable (Jesse), Dacoda Adams, Victoria Williams, Tyler Anderson, Mason Brenner, Hailee Smith, Gaven Smith; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Aaliyah, and Jase; and several nieces and nephews.
