The Boonville Lady Pirates basketball team held on to beat Notre Dame de Sion 37-35 Tuesday night in a Class 4 Sectional game in Kansas City. The Lady Pirates, 20-9 on the season, will play St. Joseph Benton, 22-6, on Saturday, March 15 at the Windsor Gymnasium at Boonville High School, starting at 2 p.m. The Lady Cardinals defeated Excelsior Springs 77-32 in their sectional game.
