Boonville senior Dakota Troost slides into third base in the first inning Thursday night against Hickman at Twillman Field in Harley Park. Troost went 3-5 with three singles and one RBI as the Pirates defeated the Kewpies 9-1. Boonville, 11-4, will play Centralia today in the opening round of the Boonville Wood Bat Tournament, starting at 4 p.m.
