Boonville sophomore Braylon Ellison attempts to put up a shot between two Southern Boone defenders in the fourth quarter Thursday night in the semifinal round of the Class 4 District 9 Tournament at Southern Boone High School in Ashland. Ellison scored 11 points-all in the second half-to help the Pirates beat SBC 48-43. Boonville, 19-9 on the season, will face top-seeded Father Tolton for the title on Saturday, March 2, starting at 2 p.m.
