Cutline:Dennis Knipp, mayor of Pilot Grove along with Randy Glenn and Sue Day opened the Pilot Grove Sesquicentennial festivities at the Opening Ceremony on Thursday, June 8. Randy Glenn portrayed founder Samuel Roe. He and Day were dressed in period costume, reminiscent of the garments worn when Pilot Grove was founded.
