Peggy Sue Ballew, age 67, formerly of New Franklin, Missouri passed away December 18, 2021 at the Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob, Missouri.

Peggy was born on August 10, 1954 in Mexico, Missouri a daughter of Henry and Shirley Groeber Schwartz. She married Randall Dwight Ballew and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2005. They were the parents of two children, Tony and Karianna Ballew.

She is survived by her son, Tony Ballew; by two brothers, Larry and Gary Schwartz and by her caregivers and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her daughter, Karianna Ballew; a brother, Robert Schwartz and a sister, Nancy Pratt.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev. Wayne Purvis and Rev. David Hartgrove officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
