Norman Ray French of Powhatan, VA passed away Monday Feb. 28, 2022 at the age of 87.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Gipsie; 4 sons: John French (Cindy), Chris French (Lindy), Bob French (Kelly), Hank Brackett (Roxi); 3 daughters: Kim French, Lynn French Greene (John), Kelly Brackett Dodgen (Andy); 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Father George French, Mother Mildred Childs, Brothers Alvin French, Ralph French, and Sister Thelma Williams.

Mr. French retired in 1975 after serving in the Marine Corps for 22 years and two wars (Korea and Vietnam). He took great pride is serving his beloved country.

Ray was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held Monday March 21, 2022; 2PM at Heath Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Nelson, MO. Memorials may be made in Remembrance of Ray to the Heath Creek Cemetery Assoc. PO Box 701, Smithville, MO 64089
