The Holiday Lights at Warm Springs Ranch are open again this year.

The light display is open from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 29. Admission is $10 per person, and visitors can tour the stalls and visit with the Clydesdales, and see the light displays. Guests 21 and over can receive two complimentary Budweisers, and there will be other drinks and snacks available to purchase.

Herd management supervisor Mark Boese said that Fridays and Saturdays have been the busiest nights. The crews have been working since October to set up the lights and decorations, including the aluminum bottle tree.

Twenty-two foals were born at the ranch this year, and Boese said they expect 20 next year. This was the first year training the Clydesdales at Warm Springs Ranch instead of in Merrimack, New Hampshire. It’s been a successful start, and several horses have been added to traveling hitches, Boese said.

“They’ve learned to adapt to different scenery here in Missouri, and there’s a lot more interaction with people,” he said. “We have 300 acres to drive around in, so it’s been a great move.”
