The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre will open its new housing addition for employees in 2019.

One of the most important aspects of the theatre's operation is the housing it provides for its seasonal actors, technicians, directors, stage managers and designers.

After a fire in 2004 led to the rebuilding of its housing facility, doubling the number of available rooms, the theatre is expanding again.

"During our musical productions we have as many as 40 employees needing housing," Quin Gresham, producing artistic director, said in a press release. "Unfortunately, our current housing is unable to accommodate that number, so for the past several years, we have found it necessary to locate and rent additional housing for the season."

After creating the plan to build more housing adjacent to the current facility, the theatre has announced that its new addition will open in 2019.
