Not only was it a time to enjoy a meal, but participants in the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce Fall Progressive Dinner had the opportunity to see some of the newest businesses in town.

“The 2017 fall progressive dinner was a success. We had a nice turnout,” Boonville Chamber of Commerce Director Laura Wax stated.

As individuals made their way around to the businesses who were catering the meals, they got to talk with friends and business owners, which is the whole idea of the dinner. While each business provides the meal, they have the opportunity to talk with potential clients and make connections with other area businesses as well.

“We want to thank the hosts; First State Community Bank, Petersen financial group, the Andrews-wing house and Howard funeral home for graciously allowing us to come and eat in your businesses as well as give us the opportunity to learn more about those establishments,” Wax stated.

While this marks the last progressive dinner of the year, the chamber is gearing up for the next one in the spring.
