If you are old enough to remember, The Carol Burnett Show,or The Ed Sullivan Show,you know what the River Rats are up to. Come February 10 – 12, Turner Hall in Boonville will host, The Love Show. This non-profit community arts group is in search of acts to fill the bill, such as but not limited to; sketch comedians, musical production numbers, magicians, dancers, jugglers, unusual instrumentalists, yodelers, unicyclists, impersonators, a kazoo orchestra and performing pets. They even hope to have a few fire breathers in the parking lot. The theme is love and the intent is laughter and awe. This incarnation of Love Notes is the annual fundraiser for the organization that sponsors creative opportunities for the region. Open auditions will be held Sunday, January 8 from 1 – 5 pm at Turner Hall, 518 Vine Street. You will need to come prepared to preform your act or something close to it. The Rats supply the stage. Some evening rehearsals will be required. The show will run Friday and Saturday evenings, Feb. 10 and 11 with a Sunday matinee on Feb. 12.
