A plan for the Hail Ridge Property is getting underway. The 162 acre site will be a mixture of homes and recreation with a nine-hole golf course.
Since the City of Boonville will be taking ownership of the property, a committee has been formed with a mixture of city and local officials. This committee will make decisions  with direction from Darryl Tower of Skogman Realty and Allan Lurch of Sky’s Edge Development.
While the current Hail Ridge Golf Course is 18 holes, the current development calls for a nine-hole state of the art course mixed with single family and duplex homes.
An agreement has been submitted by the city with approval by MECO Engineer Scott Vogler for a March 8 meeting. The agreement outlines responsibilities of the city and the property owner before the ground is handed over to the city.
The land, which includes Hail Ridge Golf Course, was annexed into the city in 2014. It took three votes to formerly enter the property within the limits, which expands the city to include the Highway 87 corridor.
More developments of the property will be released soon.
A copy of the settlement can be picked up at Boonville City Hall on Main Street.
