The South Howard County Historical Society Wine Walk is a little over a month away but, it is not too early to get ready tr participate in the event.

The South Howard County Historical Society Wine Walk is a little over a month away but, it is not too early to get ready tr participate in the event.
The New Franklin Cork and More event will be held downtown on March 19 between 4-7 p.m. With early spring weather, the event is forecast to draw a large crowd as in years past.
In addition to wine tasting, it will also be good opportunity to see what downtown New Franklin has to offer, which includes several shops and places to learn more about the heritage of the Boonslick.
Wineries participating in the event include Casa De Logo, Camdenton; Baltimore Bend, Waverly; Arcadian Moon, Higginsville; Grindstone Valley, Osborn; Coopers Oak Winery, Higbee; Bushwhacker Bend, Glasgow; Serenity Valley, Fulton and Whildlife Ridge, Bahner.
The event includes a complementary wine glass, hors d’oeuvres, wine tastings, live music and carriage rides.
Proceeds from the event go to the SHCHS so they can further their promotion of the history of one of the oldest counties in the state.
Three drawings will be held at the event, prizes include a nights stay at the Hotel Frederick, Riversene Mansion and Megraw Bed and Breakfast.
