Boonville junior Effie Morris captured first place in four events during the Tri-County Conference Track Meet Tuesday at Southern Boone High School in Ashland. Morris finished first in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles for a total of 40 points. The Boonville boys’ and girls’ track team also finished with eight champions and 11 all-conference performers.
