Boonville sophomore Effie Morris captured first in both the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles Friday during the Chillicothe Relays. Morris also broke her own school record in the 300 hurdles. By winning both hurdle events and placing third in the 200-meter dash and running a leg on the 4 x 100-meter relay team, which placed third, Morris totaled 27 1/2 points for third-most individually among girls.
