The Pilot Grove Lady Tigers basketball team captured the championship in the Class 1 District 8 Tournament Friday night at Green Ridge High School by beating Sweet Springs 55-33. The Lady Tigers, 13-14, will host Appleton City in a Class 1 Sectional game Monday night, starting at 6 p.m.
