Keonna Fizer

Keonna Fizer, age 35 of Boonville, Missouri, and formerly of Carrollton and Norborne, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

She was the daughter of Gerald Wayne Conner, and Jennie Lee Earp, born on May 27, 1987, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Keonna graduated from Carrollton High School in 2006. During her youth, she became a Brownie, and continued serving others through her dedication as a Girl Scout, while earning the prestigious Silver Award. Keonna shared her enthusiasm for life, as she touched and mentored many children and adults through her employment at the Boonville YMCA, where she was the Membership Director, and Administrative Assistant. Keonna had an outgoing personality, a great laugh, a big smile, and could brighten even the dullest of days. She loved crafting, and made many shirts, cups and car air fresheners for her family and friends. Keonna had quite the collection of black and white dairy cow prints and trinkets. Her love for her daughter, family, and friends was remarkable, even though she might have other things to do, if they needed her, she was there for them, no questions asked.

Keonna is survived by her daughter, Addison Fizer of the home; her significant other, Brandon Gaddis of the home and his daughter CeCe Gaddis; her mother, Jennie Plaggemeyer of Kyle, Texas; her parents, Lisa and Bill Elsasser of St. Louis, Missouri; special bonus parents during her senior year of high school, Teresa and Chris Franklin of Carrollton, Missouri; sisters, Melody Marquess, Gretchen Truax, Jessica Welch, Kaitlyn Tennant, and Rebekah Esteban; brothers, Erik Elsasser, and Brock Detherow; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Gerald Conner; her maternal grandmother, Katie Minnis; maternal grandfather, Orville Cooper; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Cleota Conner; her step-grandfather, Wendell Dean Minnis; and her Uncle Orville, and Uncle Jim.

The family is hosting a Visitation on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., at the Rupe Center in Carrollton, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor John Truax.

The family asks you to please stay, enjoy lunch, and share special memories of Keonna.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
