Kenneth “Kenny” Leroy Nauman passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at Katy Manor, Pilot Grove.
Visitation for Kenny will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Weisenborn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Kenny was bom March 19, 1934, in Lone Elm. He was the son of Walter and Lydia (Pethan) Nauman. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Sloan October 3, 1953, in Boonville, Mo. Kenny was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm. He had served in the Missouri National Guard.
Kenny began fanning with his father at an early age and had been a lifelong fanner in the Lone Elm area. He worked part time for Hawkins Implement Company, John Deere and Bunceton MFA. He also did custom farming jobs for people including combining and baling.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Betty, his daughter Dorothy (Howard) Draffen, his grandson Christopher (Melissa) Draffen, great-granddaughter Emma Draffen and step-great-grandsons Clayton and Wyatt Kendrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norbert (Helda) Nauman and Herbert (Verna) Nauman and three nieces and three nephews.
