Juanita A. Miller, 66, of rural Slater, died Monday, January 2, 2023 at her home.

No services will be held. Weiker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bom October 30, 1956 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearline Meadows Moore. On February 12, 2011, she married Ricky Petty, and he survives of the home.

Also surviving are seven children, Rodney Jenks oi Kansas City, Missouri, Allen Petty of Slater, Mary Ann Williams Hunt of Columbia, Shawnna Jackson ol Ada, Oklahoma, Carrie Brown of Gardner, Kansas, Kari Petty of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Misty McCary of Chesney, South Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Boyd of Burlington, Iowa. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Miller had worked as a volunteer at the Riley Equine Center in Boonville, and had lived in rural Slater for the past eight years, moving from Boonville.
