The Fourth Annual Duel in the Dirt kicked off Friday evening at the Cooper County Fairgrounds. Sponsored by Ride for Our Veterans, the event raises money to help local veterans when assistance is needed. Local veterans were asked to register and those who did had a rider ride in their honor that evening. The first ride of the evening was to honor those veterans who are no longer with us.(Photo by Laura Wax)
