New Franklin's Lily Chitwood was recently selected to the Class 1 Region 2 All-Region Softball Team for the 2023 season. As the starting shortstop for the Lady Bulldogs, Chitwood finished the season, hitting .429 with 20 singles, three doubles, four triples, three home runs, 14 RBI, 31 runs scored and 16 stolen bases.
