At the Children’s Learning Garden Tuesday evening July 9 the kids got to participate in an improv gardening story thanks to Master Gardener Jackie Hickam. They also played vegetable bingo. What a hoot! Afterwards they were all allowed to ride the “blender bike”! This is a bike that has a blender attached to the pedaling mechanism. Our Master Gardeners mixed up ice cream, bananas and milk and the kids blended it together via the bike. In the garden the kids picked peas, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, squash, & zucchini!Photo provide by Melinda Oswald
