The Boonville girls’ soccer team will have a new look this season. Along with a new head coach in Alec Adair and assistant coach Tara Brackman, the Lady Pirates will also have a new outlook on the 2022 season with 25 girls suited out with seven returning starters and 12 returning letter winners.

Boonville boys track coach Ryan Lyons used the word “potential” when describing the 2022 version of the Pirates. With 28 athletes currently on the roster, Boonville boys track coach Ryan Lyons will look to eight varsity starters and seven returning letterwinners for the upcoming season.

The Boonville girls track team may not be big on numbers this season, but when it comes to toughness and determination to be competitive the Lady Pirates could be as good as anyone in 2022. With only 16 girls suited out for the upcoming season, head coach Melissa Baker will return seven starters from last year’s team which finished sixth in the Tri-County Conference.

The Boonville Pirates baseball team will begin the season under new leadership in 2022. With last year’s coach, Adam Arnette, stepping away from baseball at the end of the 2021 season due to family reasons, Boonville looked no further than JV coach Greg Hough to be the next man up in 2022.
