Clark, Rice lead New Franklin boys and girls in Tomahawk Relays

The New Franklin boys and girls track teams competed against some of its strongest competition yet for the season on Friday during the Hallsville Tomahawk Relays. Although the New Franklin boys and girls had no first place finishers in the meet, Drake Clark placed second in the 200 meter dash in a time of 24.83 seconds and fourth in the 100 meter dash in 12.65 seconds.

New Franklin rallies past La Plata, 5-4

The New Franklin baseball team could have easily packed its bags while trailing La Plata 4-0 after three innings Tuesday night in New Franklin. In a game that was originally scheduled to be played at La Plata, the Bulldogs found themselves hosting a game for the second straight home after beating Community the night before 12-0 in five innings.
