4 x 400 meter relay team falls short at state
The Boonville 4 x 400 meter relay team fell short on Friday in the prelims at the Missouri Track & Field Championships in Jefferson City. The 4 x 400 meter relay team finished ninth with a personal record time of 3:33.01. Only the top eight finishers qualified for the finals on Saturday. The Boonville Pirates baseball team had three players recently selected to the Tri-County All-Conference Team for the 2022 season. While finishing in a twoway tie for third with California at 4-3 on the season, the Pirates also had one player selected to the first team, one to the second team and one to the honorable mention team in the TCC.
