Show-Me State Home Inspections had the best of both worlds Friday night in the Boonslick High School Softball League at Rolling Hills Park. After beating Creekside Photography 12-6 in the first game, Show-Me State Home Inspections came back and edged Workshop Wonders in a two-run ballgame 9-7.
Boonville Ready Mix picked up a sweep against Prime Construction Thursday night in Cal Ripken Major in Pilot Grove by the scores of 16-1 and 9-2. Boonville Ready Mix opened the first game against Prime Construction with five runs in each of the first two innings and then sent two runs across in the third and four in the fourth to win by the mercy rule.
Pilot Grove Purple and Pilot Grove Gold recorded wins in the Boonslick High School Softball League Wednesday night at Rolling Hills Park. While Pilot Grove Purple defeated Workshop Wonders 12-5 in the first game, Pilot Grove Gold came back to win 18-3 over Creekside Photography in the nightcap.

Boonville Caterpillar rallied from a three run deficit after 3 ½ by scoring four runs in the bottom half of the fourth to beat Pilot Grove COOP 11-10 Wednesday night in Midget League action at the Midget League Field at Kemper Park.
WK Auto scored four runs in the first two innings and then sent five runs across in each of the third and fourth innings of play to beat Fayette 18-9 in Midget League action Thursday night at the Midget League Field at Kemper Park.
In Instructional League play in New Franklin on June 6, Chipley and Company defeated GKC CPAs 9-6 while Jennings Premium Meats beat Shelter Insurance 10-9. Chipley and Company led GKC CPAs 3-2 after one but had the game tied in the top half of the second and then trailed 4-3 after 2 ½.
Fayette’s 12U softball broke a 3-3 tie after three by scoring five runs in the top half of the fourth to beat Rick Ball 8-3 Thursday night at Rolling Hills Park. After Fayette scored two runs in the first and one again in the second to grab a 3-0 lead, Rick Ball came back and plated one run in the bottom half of the second and two again in the third to tie the game at 3-all.
