Boonville 11 All-Stars begin play in state tournament in Dexter

The Boonville 11-year-old All-Stars will play Scott County in the opening round of the Cal Ripken 11-year-old State Tournament in Dexter, Missouri on Thursday, July 14 at 3 p.m. Four teams will make up the state tournament, which include Mineral Area, Scott County, Central Ozark and Boonville. Boonville 9 All-Stars set to open state play on July 14 in Dexter

The Boonville 9-yearold All-Stars will compete in the Cal Ripken 9-year-old State Tournament on July 14-16 in Dexter, Missouri. Eight teams and two divisions will make up the tournament, with Sikeston, MABA American, Boonville and Dexter Titans making up the Cal Division and Dexter, Carthage, MABA Nationals and Scott County competing in the Ripken Division.

Simmons throws out ceremonial first pitch
