Boonville 12 All-Stars drop opening game in Cal Ripken World Series

Boonville Daily News The Boonville 12-year-old All-Stars dropped its opening game in the Cal Ripken 12-year-old World Series Friday night at Ballparks of America in Branson, Missouri. Although the Boonville 12 All-Stars still have three games left in pool play, the 4-3 loss will still for sometime as Eagle Pass, Texas rallied with the winning run in the bottom half of the sixth for the win.

Waite Park wins Cal Ripken 9-year-old Midwest Plains Regional Tournament

Avenges earlier loss against West Fargo with 10-5 victory Boonville Daily News Waite Park avenged a one-run loss against West Fargo in pool play by beating the North Dakota team 10-5 in the championship game of the Cal Ripken 9-year-old Midwest Plains Regional Tournament Monday in Boonville. Waite Park and West Fargo both finished pool play at 2-1 in the Cal Division.
