New Franklin boys rally past Stover with big second half to win 64-37
The New Franklin boys’ basketball team had what head coach Jim Schlotzhauer called the “poorest” showing of the season Monday night on the road in a 64-37 win over the Stover Bulldogs. Although the Bulldogs wound up pulling away in the fourth quarter for the 24 point win, the first half was anything but a blowout as Stover jumped out to a 15-8 lead at the end of the first quarter only to have New Franklin rally back with a 15-8 advantage in the second period to tie the game at 23-all.
