After closing out the first day of the Missouri State High School Wrestling Championships at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Boonville wrestling coach Justin Hahn was already talking about the possibilities that lie ahead for the team in 2023-24.
With coffee in hand from Scooters in Boonville, you knew it was going to be a good day for New Franklin freshman Lily Chitwood. While playing in perhaps the biggest game of her career against top-seeded Salisbury in the championship in the Class 2 District 7 Tournament at New Franklin High School, Chitwood knew the team had to win and what better way to get ready for the game than to enjoy a cup of coffee.
