The New Franklin Lady Bulldogs softball team had North Shelby on the ropes for five innings Tuesday night while leading 2-1.

The Pilot Grove Tigers baseball team scored at least one run in every inning to beat the Madison Panthers 15-0 in three innings Tuesday night in Pilot Grove.

The New Franklin Bulldogs baseball team exploded for five runs in the second inning and never looked back, beating the Community R-6 Trojans Tuesday night in New Franklin 9-0.

The Pilot Grove boys’ and girls’ middle school basketball teams picked up a pair of wins Tuesday night at home by beating the Jamestown Eagles 38-17 and 25-19, respectively.

The LSE girls’ seventh grade volleyball team defeated the Centralia Panthers in two straight sets Tuesday night in Boonville 25-23 and 25-9.
