Lady Pirates drop sectional game against Owensville, 46-29
The Boonville Lady Pirates basketball team can look at Monday’s Class 4 Sectional game against the Owensville Dutchmen as a case of missed opportunities.While the Lady Dutchmen pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 46-29 victory, the Lady Pirates will look to several factors as to why Owensville was able to pull away in the final four minutes of the ball game.Of course, it didn’t hurt that Owensville was able to get to the foul line in the fourth quarter by hitting 13 of 17 shots.
