A Boonville Lady Pirates Youth Basketball Camp will be held for third through sixth grade and seventh and eighth graders on May 21-23 at the Windsor Gymnasium at Boonville High School.Boonville Lady Pirates basketball coach Jared Runyon said the camp for girls in grades third through sixth grade will be held from 9-10:15 a.m.

The 16th annual New Franklin Athletic Booster Club Golf Tournament, in memory of Dennis Grotjan, will be held on Friday, June 14 at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville with shotgun start at 12 noon.The cost for the four-person scramble tournament is $280 per team.

Prime Construction improved to 2-0 on the season by turning back Huebert Fiberboard 7-6 in Cal Ripken Major Tuesday night at the COCOBA Ball Field.In the nightcap, Rick Ball Auto Group won 16-4 in four innings against Einspahr Construction to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Auto Body Experts and Tint Shop both had something in common Tuesday night in Cal Ripken Minor at the BHS Baseball Field.Aside from both winning their games, Auto Body Experts and Tint Shop also won by the identical scores of 14-4 against their opponents to improve to 2-0 on the season.Auto Body Experts opened the game against Citizen’s Community Bank with one run in the bottom half of the first.

Pilot Grove COOP scored two runs in the top half of the first and never looked back, beating WK Auto 4-2 in Midget League action Tuesday night at the Midget League Field.Pilot Grove, 1-0 on the season, led WK Auto 2-0 after the first and then sent one run across in each of the third and fourth innings of play.

In Boonslick 8U softball Tuesday night at Lions Park, Citizen’s Community Bank won 12-11 over Wylde Taxidermy.CCB, 1-0 on the season, trailed Wylde Taxidermy 1-0 after one inning before rallying back with three runs in the bottom half of the second to go up 3-1.
