The Boonville Lady Pirates soccer team went out with their hair blazing Tuesday night against the Eugene Eagles at the Boonville City Soccer Fields.While honoring the six seniors and their parents prior to the game, the Lady Pirates also took care of business by leading Eugene for the entire 80 minutes for a 4-1 victory.“We did a good job of connecting passes in the attacking third tonight,” said Boonville soccer coach Alec Adair.
The Pilot Grove Tigers baseball team closed out the regular season on a high note Tuesday night at Estes Field on the campus of Central Methodist University by beating the Fayette Falcons 10-3.The Tigers, improving to 11-9 on the season, had a great start against Fayette by pushing across two runs in the bottom half of the first to go up 2-0.
