KWRT left little doubt Tuesday night against Fayette in Junior Babe Ruth action at Twillman Field in Harley Park.One night after beating Salisbury in the season opener at Salisbury, KWRT came back with another offensive explosion against Fayette by plating 12 runs in the first-three innings for a 16-6 victory.In the nightcap, Pilot Grove bounced back from a 19-0 loss one night earlier to beat Salisbury 10-2.KWRT, 2-0 on the season, opened the game with five runs in the first and then sent four runs across in the second, three again in the third and four in the fifth to win by the run rule.

Huebert Fiberboard, Prime Construction win in Cal Ripken Major

Huebert Fiberboard led Boonville Ready Mix from start to finish for an 8-3-win Tuesday night in Cal Ripken Major at the COCOBA Ball Field.In the nightcap, Prime Construction raised its season record to 8-0 by turning back Rick Ball Auto Group 12-2.Huebert Fiberboard, 6-4 on the season, jumped out on top to stay with four runs in the bottom half of the second.
