First day of practice brings excitement for player and coaches
The first official day of fall sports for high school teams was no different for Boonville on Monday.Like most teams across the state, Boonville kicked off the 2024 season with the first official day of practice on Monday, August 12 in football, softball, volleyball, girl’s golf, girl’s tennis, boy’s soccer and cross-country.Although some numbers have gone up in certain sports, Boonville also saw a decrease in numbers for a few teams.Boonville Pirates football coach Greg Hough said 69 athletes in grades 9-12 participated on the first day of practice on Monday.

Boonville will begin fall sports on Monday, August 12
Boonville Athletic Director Chris Shikles said Season Sports Passes for both Boonville High School and LSE for the 2024 fall season are now on sale.Shikles added that adult season passes to all sporting events will cost $45 for the 2024-25 school year while student season passes to all sporting events will cost $40.
