Pirates will work through the process and strive to get better each week

After suffering their first losing season in the last seven years, the Boonville Pirates football team is ready to right the ship for the 2024 season under head coach Greg Hough.Despite winning three of their last four games, the Pirates are ready to turn the page in hopes of winning another district title and the program’s first conference championship in the Tri-County Conference.Entering his seventh year at the helm to lead the Pirates, Hough will bring a career record of 101-99 and 40-27 mark since becoming the head coach at Boonville.

Lady Pirates look to play with great effort and positive attitudes in 2024

The Boonville Lady Pirates softball team will go into the 2024 season with a chip on their shoulder.After finishing 11-18 overall last fall, the Lady Pirates had a little more success in the Tri-County Conference by finishing 3-3, which was good enough for fourth place.“We have an optimistic outlook and have set a goal to finish at .500 or above this season,” said Boonville softball coach Christie Zoeller.
